This custom piece is inspired by the Norse people, or Vikings as you probably know them as, and the undertones of fashion and art they left in Britannia after the invasions in the 6th and 7th centuries.
A highly intricately decorated Axe-head, this custom has been hand-crafted in our Workshops and holds the same strength and bold depth of character that Ivar Ragnarsson, or Ivar the Boneless as he was referred to, was a Viking warlord and whom of legend has been described as a man of exceptional terror and cruelty.
However, besides being an uncontrollable brute he was a well-dressed and a highly intelligent man, which spurs the fascination, a common theme here at Obsidiann, of mixing the depth of a complex and cognizant character who enjoyed the finer things in life, with the absolute rashness and brutality of a monster.
